Mike Raymer doesn’t just perform magic.
He creates experiences where people laugh together… reflect together… and encounter something deeper together.
For over 40 years, Mike has used the art of magic as a way to connect with audiences of all ages—but in Catholic settings, that connection takes on a deeper purpose.
Because when joy opens the door, hearts are more ready to receive the message.
Mike’s work in Catholic ministry is rooted in a simple belief:
Faith is not just something we learn—
it’s something we experience.
Through storytelling, participation, and moments of wonder, his programs help bring Catholic teachings to life in a way that feels real, engaging, and memorable.
Whether he’s working with students, families, or an entire parish, the goal is always the same:
Create a moment people don’t just see…
but truly feel.
Mike’s background is a unique blend of performance and ministry.
He has served as:
- A teacher
- A youth minister
- A college professor
And throughout it all, he has remained a lifelong student of what truly connects with people.
As a professional magician, Mike is also:
- A Life Member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians
- A Life member of the Society of American Magicians
- A past President of the Louisville Magic Club
But more important than titles or credentials is this:
- He understands how to read a room
- He knows how to engage hearts, not just attention
- And he brings a level of care and intentionality that parish leaders can trust
Mike has performed for audiences across the United States and internationally, bringing his unique blend of magic, message, and meaningful interaction to:
- Parishes
- Catholic schools
- Retreats
- Youth ministry events
- Family faith gatherings
No matter the setting, each program is designed to meet people where they are—and help move them just a little deeper.
Mike’s approach is inspired by St. John Bosco:
“Engage first. Connect second. Form third.”
Because when people are engaged and joyful, they are far more open to growth, reflection, and faith.
That’s why every program is designed to be:
- Joyful without being shallow
- Meaningful without being heavy
- Faith-centered without feeling forced
At the end of the day, Mike’s goal is simple:
To create an experience where people walk away not just entertained…
but encouraged, uplifted, and just a little more open to the beauty of faith.
