Mike Raymer is a nationally and internationally recognized magician whose programs have delighted and inspired audiences across the United States, as well as in Canada, Italy, and Guatemala. His performances are designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and meaningful—making them a perfect fit for schools and libraries.

A lifelong student of the art of magic, Mike has trained with some of the world’s leading professional magicians. He is a Life Member of both the International Brotherhood of Magicians  (IBM) and the Society of American Magicians (SAM), the two largest and most respected magic organizations in the world, and is a longtime member of the Louisville Magic Club.

Mike served as President of the Louisville Magic Club for six years and has been an active member for more than four decades. His leadership and dedication to excellence in performance have earned him the respect of educators and entertainers alike.

He also spent seven years as editor and writer of The Magic SYMbol, the international magazine for the Society of Young Magicians, where he helped mentor and inspire young performers worldwide. In addition, he served as a Regional Vice President for the Society of American Magicians, representing five states and supporting youth and educational programming throughout the region. In July 2025, Mike was elected Second Vice President of the Society of American Magicians.

Beyond the stage, Mike brings real classroom experience to every performance. He has worked as a teacher, youth minister, and college professor—roles that have shaped his ability to connect with students, reinforce positive messages, and align his programs with educational goals. Whether in a school assembly or library program, Mike’s shows combine wonder, learning, and laughter in a way students remember long after the applause.
